Shooting at Urban Spree
by Zoë Noble
When you think of quintessentially unique spaces that just embody Berlin, Urban Spree immediately springs to mind. 1,700m2 of graffiti-covered awesomeness, filled with artist studios, music venues, bars and more than a little bit of grime, this creative complex is unlike anything else.
Recently I had the opportunity to shoot a fashion editorial there, and was allowed to run riot in their basement – with all its glowing red neon and industrial piping. Swoon. Christmas had indeed come early for me, so a huge thank you to Urban Spree for letting me take over their space for the day!
You can see the full editorial on Superior Magazine and find more details about the lighting and setup I used on my photography blog, here.
