[EDIT: this competition is now closed. Click here to see if we’re running any open competitions]

OUTRAGEOUS LINEUP ALERT! This Friday, Peaches is joined by Ellen Allien, Aerea Negrot and many more awesome artists at SchwuZ. This utter treat of a club night is the 100th edition of London Calling vs. Expatriarch Generations, with a special performance by Ziur AKA Mika Risiko of CRIME fame.

Peaches hand picked Risiko for this showcase as part of the Expatriarch Generations project, which hooks up emerging artists with established acts for personal mentoring, support and career advice. Each month, Berlin Community Radio airs a conversation between the two, like this fascinating discussion between Sasha Perrera (Jahcoozi) and Bella Cuts. We can’t wait to hear the Peaches edition! Or see her live!! Scroll down to win!!!

Just leave us a comment below with the answer to this easy question:

(apart from Peaches and Ellen Allien) Who is the fiercest female ever to make music in Berlin?

You have until midnight on Thursday 2nd October to enter. GOOD LUCK!

The Boring Bit (yawn, RULES):

1. You must be 18 years or older to enter.
3. We will keep a record of each comment in a database and then a random number generator picks the winner.
4. Remember to include your full (real) name and email address, so we can contact you if you win.
6. We will notify the winner via email on Friday 3rd October.

Music Montag: Best of Berlin 2013

by James Glazebrook

What have EnyaFleetwood Mac, Chris Isaak, Rihanna, M.I.A, Destiny’s Child and Kendrick Lamar got in common? Nope, they haven’t formed a Gayngs-style supergroup (we wish!)… but all of them have had tracks covered or remixed by überlin’s Music Montag picks for 2013. Here’s two hours of our favourite music made in and about Berlin this year, from electro to acoustic, from heavy heavy metal to fat dirty bass. Enjoy :)

Feeling nostalgic? Listen to the Best of Berlin 2012 here.

Music Montag: CRIME

by James Glazebrook

CRIME black and white

We’ve been meaning to feature CRIME on Music Montag for about a year now. Not that the Sissters/Scream Club side project has been up to much since we took an exclusive behind the scenes look at their (NSFW) video for “This Party Blows”, but the little music they have produced is still blowing up our speakers! Mika Risiko and Sarah Adorable blend post-witch house goth-electro aesthetics with a cruel synth-punk sneer… which might sound like bollocks, but just have a listen to “This Party Blows” and “Other Kid’s Lives” below, and you might get what I mean!

EXCLUSIVE: Behind the Scenes of CRIME’s New Video

by James Glazebrook

CRIME "This Party Blows" by Alexa Vachon

Berlin-based noise punks CRIME have given us an exclusive behind the scenes peek at their new video, and it looks RED HOT. In fact, “This Party Blows”, directed by Tom Ehrhardt, Mika Risiko and Stefan Fähler, is going to be screened as part of the shorts section at the Porn Film Festival Berlin! The video will be released soon, but until then you’ll have to recreate it, by listening to “This Party Blows” (click play below) and, I don’t know, scrolling up and down through Alexa Vachon’s stunning photos, and opening and closing your eyes real quick. Expect to read more about CRIME, the queer DIY duo formed by members of Sissters and Scream Club, because their hollowed-out goth electro is currently shaking the foundations of überlin HQ, like, 25/7. Enjoy.

New music video ‘This Party Blows’ by Berlin band CRIME explores the representation of beauty on and off screen, taking real life social interaction as the source of inspiration. An atmosphere of friction and heightened gestural awareness unfolds in in this intimate portrayal of beauty and boredom
